Give your emotions a reality check every day and you will see that once your emotions are controlled your thoughts and ideas will flourish and setting short-term realistic goals will come easy for you. If for any reason you missed your streak, no worries you can always go back to it the next day. Don't let the feeling of failure put you down in your goal. There is always tomorrow and you can grab from there and make it happen. I usually like to start by setting a goal, at this time I'm doing at least a mile and a half a day and no matter how I do it either running or walking this should appear in my daily exercise goal. I know this is a very achievable goal but sometimes your days are not long enough and I consider that setting a reasonable and doable goal makes it easy to fulfill.
