Meet Estela Garcia, CPO-CD®
A Different Lens on Home Organization
I believe a well-organized home should make everyday life easier—not ask you to become a different person to maintain it.
As the founder of Fresh Light Start Professional Organizing, I'm a Certified Professional Organizer in Chronic Disorganization (CPO-CD®), and a Certified Virtual Professional Organizer, with specialized training in ADHD coaching and executive function support. I specialize in ADHD-friendly organizing, chronic disorganization, and executive-function support.
I help busy professionals and families simplify their load at home with practical, personalized organizing solutions.
My work goes beyond deciding where things belong. I take time to understand your space, how you live, what's already working, and what repeatedly gets in the way.
Sometimes, the challenge isn't the clutter itself. It's a system that requires too many decisions, too many steps, or more capacity than you have available.
That's where our work begins!

Why Organizing?
My connection to professional organizing began more than eighteen years ago, during a difficult season when I supported my sister through a significant life transition.
That experience taught me that our home environment is about more than our belongings. Life changes, stress, grief, and overwhelming responsibilities can affect our ability to manage our homes, even when we know what needs to be done.
I witnessed how much lighter everyday life could feel when the environment began supporting the person again.
With a professional background in medical billing administration and real estate, I've always relied on problem-solving, systems, and organization. Over time, I realized those skills could serve a greater purpose: helping people create homes that feel more manageable, comfortable, and supportive.
Organizing Around How You Actually Live
My judgment-free approach goes beyond why things haven't been done and is more about understanding:
“What is making this harder than it needs to be?”
That question changes the organizing process.
We look beyond where things belong to understand how you use your space.
Can you easily find what you need?
Is putting things away convenient?
Does the system fit your routines, habits, and available capacity?
Sometimes, a small adjustment can make a meaningful difference.
Other times, we need to rethink how a space functions altogether.
The goal is to meet your needs and create a home that supports the way you actually live.
Expertise With Compassion
Specialized knowledge. A personalized approach.
CPO-CD®

Advanced expertise in chronic disorganization and the challenges that can affect everyday home management.

ADHD Coaching Training
Training in executive functions, awareness, behavior change, and strategies that support meaningful progress.
My approach is informed by continued professional education and involvement with organizations including the Institute for Challenging Disorganization (ICD), Coach Approach, ACO, NAPO, CHADD, and ADDA.
Why does this matter?
Because no two clients arrive with the same needs.
Some are navigating ADHD or chronic disorganization. Others are balancing demanding careers, family responsibilities, life transitions, or simply need professional help getting organized.
I use my training to understand your challenges and adapt our work to your routines, priorities, and capacity.
You don't need a diagnosis or a label to benefit from a home that works better for you.

Beautiful. Functional. Sustainable.
I love beautiful spaces, but for me, successful organizing needs to be beautiful for your needs, functional, and, most importantly, work beyond the day we finish.
Our work is complete when you find practical organizing systems that support everyday life demands, that you can sustain it, and adapt accordingly to your space needs.
Because I Want You to Get:
-
A place to support everything else you are trying to do.
-
A setting where you can feel calm and relax.
-
An environment where everyday tasks require less mental energy.
-
A house where getting ready, preparing meals, handling paperwork, doing laundry, or walking through the door feels easier.
-
A home that works with you rather than against you.
